ANTHONY GAINES

Anthony Gaines is a Senior Basketball Coach and Senior Advisor for the Greenwich Stars.

Anthony played for the Harlem Globetrotters and professionally for several years. Coach Anthony was an incredibly successful high school basketball coach. His teams won (5) New York Section One Basketball Championships in his (11) Years as Varsity Basketball Coach for Clark Academy in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

Anthony is one of the most respected basketball teachers in the region. Anthony’s incredible ability to communicate with players at all levels and ages makes him a special coach.  Anthony wants every player to be fundamentally sound and believe in themselves. Anthony inspires his players to respect and love the game of basketball as much as he does. His teams play tough and smart defense. Anthony’s players always play to win and give maximum effort in practice and games. Players love coming to Coach Anthony’s outstanding practice sessions. His practices are positive and energetic where players work hard, get better and leave with a huge smile on their face.
