Congratulations to our terrific Greenwich Stars 10U Boys Blue Basketball Team led by Coach Henry Ferrarin that won the huge Spooky Nook tournament over the weekend by going undefeated (5-0). See the attached photo of the team after winning. The May 12/13 weekend tournament in Manheim, PA is a major tourney on the Spring circuit and is held at Spooky Nook – the world’s largest indoor sports facility. 10 Blue has played 3 tourneys this season, been to the Championship Game each time and won 2 tournaments. 10 Blue has a record of 13 wins and 1 loss this Spring.
Note: (5) of our top Boys Blue teams competed in last weekend’s Zero Gravity Spooky Nook Tournament in Pennsylvania – 10 Blue, 11 Blue, 12 Blue, 13 Blue and 14 Blue. 10 Blue won the tournament and 11 Blue, 12 Blue and 13 Blue each went 2 and 1 and 14 Blue went 0-3. The Greenwich Stars did very well at the tournament that featured some of the top ranked teams in the East and mid-Atlantic regions.
