The Greenwich Stars’ Chris Harris Leads Hamilton to the Section One Basketball Championship

Chris (CJ) Harris had a night he will lever forget. The former Greenwich Star standout helped lead Hamilton High School (Elmsford, NY) to the New York Section One Class C Boys High School Basketball Championship. CJ’s Hamilton team overpowered Haldane High School (Cold Spring, NY) 66-47 on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Championship Game at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. Chris had 14 points and played great defense to spark Hamilton to the huge win. CJ is a senior and the older brother of one of the greatest players in Stars’ history (Brandon Harris). There’s nothing better than seeing players that are dear to the Greenwich Stars (like CJ Harris) excel in high school. Throughout the Section 1 Playoffs, we’ve seen so many of our former players in action and excelling for their high school teams. In the attached photo, CJ Harris is shown after the Championship Game with his medal that he received for winning it all. Hamilton now advances to the New York State Championships.
