Rob Sauerhaft Joins the Greenwich Stars Basketball Organization

Rob Sauerhaft has joined the Greenwich Stars as a Senior Basketball Coach. Rob is a terrific communicator and he loves to teach the game of basketball. His practices are outstanding – fast-paced, energetic and challenging. Rob has successfully coached teams from elementary to high school. He has four goals for his players: Have Fun, Get Better, Learn the Game and Be a Great Teammate. Achieve those goals and the wins will follow.

Rob was raised in a sports-loving family in Armonk, NY, Rob grew up playing basketball, golf, soccer and baseball. He was captain of his high school basketball team. In college, he was a four-year starter and captain of his Division 1 golf team at Colgate University. Rob worked at Golf Magazine/Sports Illustrated Golf Group for 28 years, where he was a Managing Editor and award-winning writer. Currently, he’s a freelance writer and serves on the Board of Directors for The Eye Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit focused on multi-centered research as well as patient support services.
