The Heaton Boys and The Greenwich Stars

The Greenwich Stars are family – a large but close-knit group of wonderful and talented kids who make the Stars organization such a major success.

In this photo from Sunday, November 12,  – are left to right, Senior Coach Henry Ferrarin along with brothers Ryan and Tommy Heaton and cousin Bryce Heaton.  The Heatons are about to enter a Greenwich Stars Travel team game together in a game against a team from New York City (The Stars won handily). The Heaton boys’ grandfather is the legendary Horace Greeley High School (Chappaqua, NY) teacher and swim coach, Cliff Heaton. Over the years, The Greenwich Stars have had brothers and sisters play on the same team together – but, until Sunday, 3 cousins had never played together in a Greenwich Stars travel team game.

The Greenwich Stars have 18 Boys and Girls Winter Travel teams! Besides Travel teams, The Stars have in-house leagues and clinics for boys and girls (ages 4-17) from 36 different towns. Play is now thru March 12. Now in it’s 7th year – The Greenwich Stars are the most popular and respected youth basketball organization in the region. This is the Greenwich Stars largest winter season ever. The Stars are Zero Gravity National Basketball Champions. Professional Coaches. No Parent Coaches. No Politics.

Play Winter Basketball with the Greenwich Stars: on a Winter Travel Team, The Winter GBL In-House League or join a Jr. NBA Winter Clinic. For more info, contact General Manager, John Raybin: 203.661.4444, john.raybin@greenwichstars.com or www.GreenwichStars.com
