The Greenwich Stars Win the Championship

(November 5, 2017) – The Greenwich Stars outstanding 10U Boys Blue Basketball team beat the Westchester Athletics in the Championship Game of Zero Gravity’s “Battle for the Belt” tournament at Truman High School in the Bronx (NY). The team is led by Senior Coach and Senior Director, Henry Ferrarin. The team was undefeated all tournament long. The photo in this post shows the 10U Blue team in action in the Championship Game. This same team won the “Battle for the Belt” Tournament in 9U play last November. The Greenwich Stars Fall Travel Basketball Season was a huge success. And over the weekend (of November 4/5), 10 of the Stars teams played in the major Tournament in New York and Connecticut. 4 Greenwich Stars teams made it to the CHIP round (Championship Round) in the most important Fall tournament of the season. Congratulations to all our basketball teams. Winter Travel Basketball practice begins this Thursday, November 9 for our 18 Winter teams
