Who are the Greenwich Stars?
The Greenwich Stars are the most popular and respected basketball organization in the New York/Connecticut area.
The Greenwich Stars run year-round programs for boys and girls ages 4-17 from all towns. Scholarships are available.
The Greenwich Stars are not a sports factory like so many others. We truly care about all our players and their families. We are in the basketball world to have a positive and lasting impact on every one of our players. Our coaches are exceptional – on and off the court!
We have Travel and AAU basketball teams, leagues, clinics, training sessions, and group and individual instruction. We also offer private group instruction, clinics and special programs. The Greenwich Stars are based at Carmel Academy, Greenwich, CT and The Leffell School, Hartsdale, NY (formerly the Solomon Schechter School). and we welcome elite, travel, school, recreational and new players. The Greenwich Stars have multiple basketball teams and leagues playing 12 months a year. We have an extensive In-House Fall League that plays September – November (our Fall program runs 7 days a week and you can pick a day or days that you want to play). We also offer Fall Travel teams for Boys and Girls that runs from September – November. From November – March, we have an extensive “Travel” Team program featuring 22 teams. In the spring from March – November, we have a large Spring AAU program. In the summer, we have training sessions and an August two week camp (August 19- 29). No matter what kind of player you are, we have a program, a team, a league and a clinic for you.
