For the last three years, The Greenwich Stars have taught basketball and life lessons to the Waterside students by volunteering on Monday afternoons. The Waterside School (Stamford, CT) is an independent school (Jr K – 5th Grade) that provides a rigorous academic and moral education regardless of income or circumstance. There’s nothing like Waterside – it’s a special and unique school. Students graduate at the end of 5th grade. Then each student receives a scholarship and continues their education (thru high school) at one of the area’s best private schools. Waterside has incredible students and families and the most caring and dedicated teachers, administrators and staff you will ever meet. We’re very fortunate to be associated with the remarkable Waterside School (please see the attached photo of Waterside basketball students and Greenwich Stars coaches).
