Malik Wins a National Basketball Championship

Malik is an 8th grader at the Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT). He’s one of the most popular and talented basketball players in the Greenwich Stars Organization. Malik is in his 4th year with the Greenwich Stars – he helped lead his 13U Boys Team to victory as they won the 2018 Zero Gravity National Championship in Boston in June (The Greenwich Stars 3rd National Championship). Malik is a graduate of the Waterside School in Stamford, CT.

The Greenwich Stars have (22) WINTER Travel Teams for Boys and Girls Ages 6-15. There are 2-4 teams per age. Players are welcome from all towns. Practice facilities in Greenwich, CT (Carmel Academy) and Hartsdale, NY (Solomon Schechter School).

Winter Season: November – March 3.

Practices: Each team has two practices a week (practices are one hour). Practices are held in Greenwich, CT or Hartsdale, NY. Always at the same time and at the same location.

Games: Each Travel Team will have League Games that are close by in Westchester County, NY. Other games will take place at Carmel Academy (Greenwich, CT). There’s very little traveling. Games are held on Saturdays and Sundays.

Professional Coaches: No Parent Coaches. No Politics. The Greenwich Stars have players from 38 towns in New York and Connecticut.
