Jean Lorius is the Director of the Greenwich Stars Girls Basketball Program. The Stars program includes teams for girls ages 7-14. There’s no better girls’ coach in the region. Players come from all over New York and Connecticut to play basketball with Jean. His practices sessions are outstanding – highly organized, energetic and wonderful teaching experiences. Besides being a great coach, Coach Jean (as shown in the attached photo) is a dynamic person off the court. Always helping others and constantly giving back to the community.

(22) Travel Teams for Boys and Girls Ages 6-15. There are 2-4 teams per age. Players are welcome from all towns. Practice facilities in Greenwich, CT (Carmel Academy) and Hartsdale, NY (Solomon Schechter School).
The WINTER Travel Basketball SEASON: November 5 – March 3.
Practices: Each team has two practices a week (practices are one hour). Practices are held in Greenwich, CT or Hartsdale, NY. Always at the same time and at the same location.
Games: Each Travel Team will have League Games that are close by in Westchester County, NY at House of Sports (Ardsley, NY) and The Solomon Schechter School (Hartsdale, NY). Other games will take place at Carmel Academy (Greenwich, CT). There’s very little traveling. Games are held on Saturdays and Sundays.
Professional Coaches: No Parent Coaches. No Politics. The Greenwich Stars have players from 38 towns in New York and Connecticut.
