The Greenwich Stars are teachers and we love the game of basketball. Jean Lorius is a teacher who is also a student of the game of basketball. Jean is a Greenwich Stars Senior Coach and his players come from all over New York and Connecticut to play for him. Last Spring, Jean led his Greenwich Stars 11U Boys Blue Team to the Zero Gravity National Championship Game. Coach Jean leads the Girls basketball teams and the 10U Boys White Team and the 12U Boys Blue Team, Coach Jean’s practice sessions are outstanding – innovative teaching experiences that make the players better. In the attached photo from 4/4/18, Jean is demonstrating for some of teriffic players in the program.
Play basketball with the Greenwich Stars – on our AAU teams and Travel Teams, and in our leagues and clinics. Basketball is for boys and girls ages 4-17. Players are welcome from all towns.
The Greenwich Stars are a 12 months a year basketball organization – with teams, leagues and clinics going every month of the year.
